what if you are flying to an island paradise to brush your heels on powdery sand, soak on crystalline water and marvel the blue horizon far beyond your reach while basking under the tropical sun?
Then you see this

oh well, We really can’t complain. We booked this trip few months back like a punch in the dark with the fact that this time of the year is still the monsoon season, not to mention the psychotic behavior of Philippine weather.
If the offered ostrich eggs  to Santa Clara fails, it will be …

Going to KL from Singapore is like a bus trip from Manila to Baguio—drivers got a death wish. Ideally it’s an 8 hour butt-torturing ordeal. Back in 2007 when I first took the route, it was indeed eight hours, but that’s because it was a day trip. That seemed like the longest bus ride because of the non-stop yakking of local passengers that I suspected to be a delegation for some sort of an international tiger balm sniffing senior citizens marathon. I mean seriously, it was a painful eight long …

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo declared September 7 as a non working holiday in commemoration of the death of Iglesia ni Cristo Executive Minister Erano “Ka Erdie Manalo” as announced by Secretary Cerge Remonde last Friday.

We collect key chains. Not officially though. But since it’s the easiest thing to bring home after a trip, not to mention cheapest when you have a bunch load of friends from different circles, and the idea is shared by our friends, we found our key chain collection growing and growing without us realizing it. Looking at them now, each one proudly tacked in each of our cubicle walls, we realized we have about 7 each coming from Singapore depicting only one thing…

I have never been alone on a travel before prior to my Sagada trip. I have the faintest sense of direction and I always feel particularly stupid after flying, it’s as if my head is still caught up with the altitude change. It took me an hour to find our hostel from the MRT station when I could’ve been there 15-20 minutes after stepping out of the train. I was so scared to get lost that after settling in in our room, I took out my book and a bagful …
