things to do in and around marina bay sands

Marina Bay Sands has been a go-to place if I need to show someone around Singapore. For the reason that it is convenient: it is accessible, everything is in one place, and it is fail-proof in terms of amusing SG virgins. It is a practical choice but not the best (sound like I’m describing someone’s boyfriend LOL). MBS is a lazy choice, because if one does not like the the ArtScience Museum then you can walk across in the other side of the pond and there’s Merlion Park.

This vlog covers only those places within the MBS building premise, but I will post other attractions around the are below.

How much, you asks?

ArtScience Museum – Single exhibition: Standard $17, Child/Senior/Student $12. Double exhibitions: Standard $28, Child/Senior/Student $19.

CÉ LA VI Bar – Free entry but you will have to purchase $20 consumable voucher (so that’s one bottle of beer).

Mastercard Theatre – Prices varies on shows and ticket class $90 – $200

Rasa Pura Masters (Food court) – Average per head budget is $10 – $20 (Pretty much 2x of regular price from local hawker shops). Other celebrity chefs’ restos would cut at an average of $120 per head damage for a full course dinner.

Casino – Free entry for foreigners

Helix Bridge – Free. No, make that $2 for the uncle who sells ice cream sandwich at the bridge.

Other nearby attractions are just within the 10 to 15-minute walk.

Singapore Flyer – Adult $33, Child (<13) $21, Senior (>60) $24
Esplanade Theatre – Varies depending on the show. May range between $48 – $138
Merlion Park – Free (sunblock not included)
Asian Civilisation Museum – Standard foreigner $8, Child/Senior/Student foreigner $4
Gardens By The Bay – Adult $28, child $15 (Cloud Forest + Flower Dome), the garden grounds could be accessed for free
